Sonic and Mario may face competition in theatres soon. Bandai Namco and Wayfarer Studios are collaborating on a live-action Pac-Man film, according to a recent press statement. Wayfarer Studios is the filmmaking firm run by Rafael in Jane the Virgin actor Justin Baldoni. Wayfarer created a number of television shows and documentaries, including the Disney+ feature Clouds. Aside from the announcement, Bandai Namco and Wayfarer provided no visuals or information about the Pac-Man live-action feature nor its premiere date for now.
